Optionally collaspe time periods that have no signal changes

Frequently we capture data that has short bursts of activity (50ms) with minutes of inactivity in between. It would be nice if the periods of inactivity were visually collapsed using ... notation or two vertical squiggly lines like what is commonly done in timing diagrams.

This is better than clicking to jump to next change, since it allows us to have more useful context on the screen at the same time.

    Agreed. This is a typical pattern with the LIN bus. It would be even better if the memory was conserved as well as the visual presentation.
