This idea is for one-wire protocol decoding.
Right now, your protocol analyzer for 1-wire uses the reset and presence pulses to synchronize the following data so it can correctly identify the ROM command, and detect overdrive ROM commands to detect overdrive mode.
But, instead of JTAG, we are using and going to use one-wire debugging (overdrive mode) in our current and new generation chips. So, the ‘reset’ and ‘presence’ pulses will only happen in the beginning of the debug session. You are not going to see them in the normal debugging. Only regular data will be present in a debug session.
I suggest you to add a feature to decode regular data without ‘reset’ and ‘presence’ pulses.
