Cut off parts from a measurement (for example drop left and/or right sight of A1 and/or A2 marker) would help to focus on interesting parts.

If it would be possible to cut off parts from a measurement it would help to focus on interesting parts of a longer sample (a few milliseconds out of a minute of samples).
It could be implemented, for example, by dropping left and/or right sight of A1 and/or A2 marker. Or even to drop what is in between A1 and A2.

MotusC, we have a feature specifically to address that. You can place a timing marker where you want the SPI analyzer to start running, and then re-run it from that specific point, allowing it to ignore all data before that. We walk through the process in detail in the last part of this article: http://support.saleae.com/hc/en-us/articles/217414246

I also need this feature. I have a SPI-decoder set up, but it gets thrown off by a few spurious signals at the beginning of a long capture.
